I agree, it's OK: Obviously you would not want any procedure before a colonoscopy that would introduce substances into your GI tract, but an IV infusion should be just fine. Iron and the IV fluids will not interfere. I would hope it could be coordinated so that you only need one IV placed as you will need an IV for both procedures. Good wishes:)
