Hello. was just curious as to what would happen to me if i were injected with 10mls of water for injection through my iv line?

Harmful: Infusion of plain water intravenously, even if it's sterile, can potentially cause destruction of your red blood cells(hemolysis), although it would have to be a larger volume to cause severe hemolysis. The destroyed red blood cells cause damage to kidney tubules. Don't mess with your iv line!!
