A member asked:

Lump on penile shaft. been there for a year n recently looks like a pimple with pus building up. have not had sexual activity so not sure what it mayb?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

1 exam = 1000 words: A pimple is essentially an infected hair follicle, usually following a plugged sebaceous gland, and is red and inflamed and somewhat tender. If not infected, a plugged sebaceous gland can cause a sebaceous cyst. Molluscum contagiosum is not red and has a core that and looks white like pus. It is also possible to have a genital wart without sexual activity, but rare to have just one. Rec: exam.
