16 years old: Vaginal discharge changes throughout the menstrual cycle but it can also be caused by infections. Yeast, bacterial vaginosis and several STDs are common. Testing is warranted to determine the cause. At age 16 it is not recommended that you try and use ovulation prediction as a birth control method. This is very inaccurate and often leads to pregnancy.
