Hard to say: Any water source could be contaminated by lead & many other things.Most urban centers monitor their water supply & filter out the lead. If your home is ancient and has old pipes that were soldered with lead based material it could be a home issue.You can have your water tested or call your city water department for the lead level.Lead is insidious,causing anemia long before it affects the brain
