Underweight bad?: 21 M US with no other information asks: is being underweight as bad as being overweight? ANS: this would depend on the cause of being underweight and the degree skinniness. So if you are underweight because you smoke or have tb or cancer or chronic diarrhea it UW worse. If you feel well, eat well and function well then ask your team how they define unhealthy underweight in you? Not likely a prob.
