Rabies: I am not aware of this but strongly recommend you go to an animal facility with your dog. I have two 8 year old cats, the smaller one being in charge of her brother and both living well. Once you feel comfortable with your own dog you will feel fine. I would appreciate hearing what the animal doctor(s) tell you.
