A member asked:

Why have my periods changed from 28 day cycle to 32? im had one day of heavier bleeding and now it's really light? my periods are normal. i'm 27

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your periods are: normal and your cycles are regular. Reproductive hormones can't count or tell time. Minor variations in the cycle length are common & normal. Heavier bleeding in the beginning of your period & lighter bleeding at the end is common & normal as well. VERY heavy and/or painful periods & pain or discharge between periods AREN'T not normal & require medical attention. Best wishes. Dr. Anne.
