Having severe flank and back pain. 1cm non obstructing stone fnd in rt kidney. also have mild infection. can this stone be causing the pain?

Possible: stones in the kidney don't cause pain but if they break off or pass into the ureter (the tube connecting the bladder to the kidneys); that causes a lot of pain. any other symptoms? I would go see your doctor or go to the ER
