Package insert: According to the package insert on Provigil it increases the metabolism of the Estrogen component of contraceptives. The Nuvaring package insert also reports this. A Nonestrogen containing birth control method such as Nexplanon, Mirena, (levonorgestrel) Skyla and Paragard may be a better choice for you.
