A member asked:

I am 63 should i still get pap smears or any kind of cervical check up?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

New ACOG rules: The most recent American College of OB GYN (ACOG) organization's rules are for pap smears every three years except for patients who are your age, and have had 3 negative consecutive previous pap smears, or the cervix/uterus has been surgically removed. If you have had a previous history of multiple abnormal pap smears with an intact cervix/uterus, continued MD pap follow up would be prudent.
