Pain control, image: Need to confirm cause of pain and image stone for size and location. Small stones can be expelled with administration of fluids, NSAIDS, alpha blockers and steroids. Rule out infection and treat as necessary. Pain control. An impacted or obstructing stones requires urologic consultation.
