Bleeding in preg: Bleeding in pregnancy is common but not normal. Any bleeding during pregnancy needs to be evaluated by your doctor. The doctor needs to confirm that you have a healthy pregnancy located inside of the uterus.

Consider a sonogram: If your vaginal speculum exam, Pap test and cervical screenings are normal, a pelvic sonogram performed by a credentialed obstetrical sonographer may be the simplest way to reassure about the status of your 6 week pregnancy.
