Take your time: The pill works by fooling your body into thinking you are pregnant, saving your eggs (not releasing them).Most providers suggest you give your body a month to adjust before relying on the pill alone. Condoms are also a good idea at your age as double coverage because they reduce the chance of STD's.A couple of the STD's can make you sterile. I know thinking ahead can be a bummer, but that's a pbm.
