May be: Grapefruit seed extract is not doing you any good, other than lightening your wallet. Please discuss all the medications, including the herbals and over the counter medications your are taking, with your doctor. It is likely that by taking these irregular medications you are making it worse for yourself. There is no reason for you to take anti-parasite medication.

No, however...: Good question. The chemicals in grapefruit juice that interact with medications include naringin, bergamottin and dihydroxybergamottin. These are not found in significant amounts in Grapefruit seed extract (GSE). While pure GSE is a safe antimicrobial, I would be cautious about internal use as many products are adulterated- see http://tinyurl.com/zxcodbt See my comment for further advice.
