Many possibilities: There are many possibilities for cause. Infections are top of the list, rotavirus, astrovirus, enteric adenovirus, norwalk agent, for staters. Consider salmonella, shigella, giardia... Possible secondary lactose malabsorption... Deficiency as Zinc or Vitamin A also possible... How is the baby growing? This needs a thorough workup and exam with pediatrician at once!
