Crampy pain: Hi, sorry to hear that you're having abdominal pain. One of the causes could be food sickness/poisoning. Another could be stomach virus or flu. Sometimes constipation can cause this. Other conditions include IBS - irritable bowel syndrome, and IBD - inflammatory bowel disease like Crohn disease (CD) or Ulcerative Colitis (UC). There are other problems, but severe pain should be seen in the ER.
