A member asked:

Dont know how long i had chlamydia, but was treated. am i @ risk 4 pid? i am going on a 41 say cycle now and haven't started my period.

Shouldn't be: If you had chlamydia, you were at risk for pid. If the chlamydia got into your tubes it could cause an abscess. If you were treated it should be gone if the treatment was appropriate. If you have doubts, you should be tested for chlamydia again to make certain the treatment was successful. Remember there other bacteria that can also cause pid.
