Breakthrough bleedin: Breakthrough bleeding is a phenomenon that is not uncommon while taking birth control pills. When that happens it is prudent to continue completing the cycle such as to a void intensified bleeding. A health care provider should be consulted to determine if switching to a different pill may be beneficial.
