Yes: definitely ..Acute bronchitis is just that..an acute bronchial infection ....and "cold symptoms" may NOT be present before during or after....A cold is an UPPER respiratory infection...bronchitis a LOWER respiratory condition! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
