Pericardial effusion: Why do you have it? A window procedure should procure a sample of fluid and pericardium biopsy for lab analysis;it will not "mess" you up(!)

Would it be ideal to do a pericardial window when one has a mod-lg pericardial effusion along w/ left shoulder/blade, arm, neck, chest, & back pain.
I have chronic pericarditis 1 liter blood drained(UCTD). A pericardial window 7 years ago with no heart damage. I take plaquenil, vit D and iron for UCTD and Gabapentin, Cymbalta for autonomic neuropathy. Am I at increased risk for bad Covid outcomes?
