Probably not, but...: Metronidazole will not kill sperm and should not reduce the chance of conceiving. However, bacterial vaginosis (the only medical problem normally treated with metronidazole gel) probably can interfere, reducing the chance you will conceive this cycle. In any case, if you have BV you should not be having unprotected sex until it clears up.
