My friend's rottweiler scratched my bro with its claw. it broke the skin. theres a small wound. is a tetanus injection just enuf. wat else should i do?

Wash the area and: apply antibiotic cream and check twice a day. A superficial wound usually heals without a problem, but with any opening in the skin, it is possible to get a skin infection which will make the skin around the scratch red and sore. In that case, see a doctor for eval & possible antibiotic. A tetanus shot is good for 7 years, and most children get shots at kindergarten and again at 11-12 yrs.

Wash: Clean wound thoroughly and applyntopical antibiotic and cover. If no tetanus shot in past 5 years will need tetanus
