Muscle relaxants: Methacarbamol actually gets used for treatment of Rhabdomyolysis in the veterinarian world and also after any muscle surgery. So no it does not cause it. It however can cause the severe weakness due to how the medication works. It is a sedative effect and can cause feeling of weakness.

No: Methocarbamol acts centrally in the CNS not on the muscles, besides it is a muscle relaxant, you need the opposite action to have rhabdomyolysis. Not all fatigue/weakness feelings = rhabdo, several other reasons for such symptoms, besides patients with rhabdomyolysis are truly prostrated, and won't recover in hours or days. If really suffering seek medical attention, good luck
