Old blood...: A brown discharge is usually old blood mixed with cervical mucus. Sometimes it doesn't mean anything bad. At other times, it can be a sign of a problem with the pregnancy. There isn't much you can do about it at home; however, if you see an Ob/Gyn, they can follow along with ultrasound and bloodwork to determine what is happening. Best wishes!
