Small risk: All the NSAID meds, including ibuprofen, have a small risk of causing a heart attack. The least likely is NAPROXEN. Ibuprofen is NOT the only thing to take. Naproxen is at least as good and is slightly less risky. Since you have a stent you must be on aspirin. Best time for aspirin is bedtime. The dose is a quarter of a pill, 81mg [1 baby aspirin], NOT COATED. Wait a few hours after NSAID.
