Just started to take first pill of valtrex (valacyclovir) 500 mg would two beers have any affect on the dose i took six hours ago?

"Straight, no chaser: Like any number of prescription medications that are given, they all work best when taken as directed with water(pill) so they can be appropriately absorbed. "Chasing" any medication down with 2 beers limits its' effectiveness.
