A member asked:

Became sexually active for the first time and we used condoms but one of them broke, i took planb 36 hours after and i'm scared ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fear not: To avoid fear, a couple having sex should be sure to be married, settled down, and with stable jobs that offer medical insurance (babies have many doctor visits). Then, any day is an ok day to start a family (there is no perfect time). That being said, if needing to wait on starting a family, Plan B works pretty well. An IUD works even better. One should check a home pregnancy test in 3 weeks.
