never had menstrual cramps on period until today and the pain is excruciating. what is the cause for this ?

Dysmenorrhea: Menstrual cramps are unfortunately common and some times there are no known causes, but since you never had them, and now do, it is best for you to seek a clinical exam form a Gynecologist to properly diagnosis why all of a sudden your periods are hurting you.
