A member asked:

I have hep c and was exposed to hep b a few weeks ago. im dizzy, nauseous, cold sweats. .could that be hep b?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: First, those symptoms are common to most infections, so those symptoms by themselves don't help much with diagnosing the patient. Secondly, "exposed" means different things to different people, and a person is not officially at risk unless she is truly "exposed" in the medical sense. Thirdly, persons with a liver disease (like HepC) are most likely already vaccinated against HepB by their doctors.
