Maybe non-fusion: ACDF means you remove all of the disc from that disc space. Therefore, it is virtually impossible you have a new disc issue at the same disc space. It is possible you have a new disc issue in the disc space above or below the fused level. However, if the pain is exactly the same as before, you may be suffering from failing to fuse at the operated level. 6 months my not be long enough for fusion
