Probiotics are good!: You should take probiotics at least 2 hours before or after your antibiotic. Selecting probiotics is the more confusing part because of how many are out there! Chose one that has a wider variety of bacterial strains look for one that has at least 7-20 strains. Follow directions on the packaging as some may be once or twice daily. If antibiotics are short term, continue for at least 7 days after.
