Explainable: Blood in stool is never normal, but given your circumstances is explainable through rectal trauma. Underlying pathology, such as hemorrhoids or polyps is also possible as being uncovered by mechanical trauma. Take it easy for a while, see a doc if bleeding persists, severe pain or drainage.
