Pregnancy tests: Blood pregnancy tests may be positive 5 days after conception, and urine tests are often positive about 2 weeks after conception, about the time of the expected next period. It's never a bad idea to do a pregnancy test if bleeding is unusual if pregnancy is a possibility.
