Getting low: While it can vary from person to person, blood sugar readings under 60 may be hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). People can become symptomatic with shakiness, feelings of extreme hunger, weakness, and lightheadedness. This is probably not related to diabetes or no diabetes. Some medications can mask symptoms of low blood sugar, namely beta blockers (which can be used for situational anxiety).
