Abdominal pain: Two weeks of symptoms calls for an examination by your physician. Simple constipation may cause mild discomfort or cramping, but severe discomfort, especially with abdominal tenderness, distension, or vomiting could reflect incomplete intestinal obstruction in view of pencil thin stools. Get reexamined by your physician, an abdominal surgeon or a gastroenterologist.
