Right abdominal pain: Right upper abdominal pain can have many etiologies. Anatomically, this is the location of the liver, gallbladder, part of the pancreas and part of the colon. This area is also adjacent to the diaphragm and lower lung. Abnormality within this area has broad possibilities. Best to be examined by a physician to determine what, if any, diagnostic tests may be needed.
