Photosensitivity: Stay in the shade till rash resolves, because a likely cause of your rash is a photosensitivity reaction. One type is a photoallergy to sunscreen lotion. This is a delayed hypersensitivity reaction to a chemical in the cream that is converted into an antigen from sun exposure. Switch to a hypoallergenic sunscreen that doesn't contain benzophenones, cinnamates or dibenzoylmethanes. *See comments
