I am a little irritated inside my lips of the vagina, just took some diflucan can i use desitin (zinc oxide diaper cream) for the irritation?

Outside only: You have a yeast infection. You are treating it with diflucan. You want to treat the itch with desitin (zinc oxide diaper cream). Desitin (zinc oxide diaper cream) should only be used on the outside not the inside of your body. Desitin (zinc oxide diaper cream) acts as a barrier cream. Drink fluids, try an antiinflammatory to decrease the itch sensation if necessary and try to take too many medicines. The yeast infection should resolve with diflucan.
