Combo not good: Amitriptyline in low doses 25 to 100 MG may be used prn for insomnia. Yes it is an antidepressant but requires doses of 3300 to 500 MG for treatment of depression. Combining with clonazepam is risky especially if you have never used one or both before due to possible over sedation or more severe consequence . Clonazepam is not good for insomnia due to rebound
