Referred pain: I would be concerned about inflammation in the left colon, left ovarian or retropelvic area. I recommend having a rectopelvic examination by a gynecologist. Depending upon your symptoms and physical findings, appropriate tests will be ordered and referral to other proper specialists can be made if deemed advisable.
