See a dermatologist: Where on foot? Blisters or scales or fissures? Between the smallest toe and the next one? One foot or both? Anything on hands, groins, or any other area? EXACTLY what was the "ointment"? Treatment depends on the diagnosis, so you need to see a skin specialist. Indicate that it is urgent when you call.
