Period: First, make sure you are not pregnant with a home test. The likely cause of your bleeding is progestin withdrawl. This occurs when the pill is suddenly stopped, which trigger the uterus to bleed, even though you only used 4 days worth. Also,uterine fibroids can cause irregular bleeding (can be seen on ultrasound), and well as hormonal irregularities.
