my 2 yr old son ran crying saying a spider bit him. i can see a splinter like object where he said it bit him but everything seems fine. do i worry?

Bite: I would have him seen by his pediatrician to evaluate the wound. Cover the area so he does not scratch the area and infect it. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will relieve the itch.
