Call ped: First you need to identify the cause for the anaphylaxis if possible. However in the absence of continuing exposure to the offending agent, it is highly unlikely to have continuing hives for a week (unless he is being fed the allergenic food, if any, in small quantities since then) Best to consult your ped.
