Sometimes: If the pill is taken every day as prescribed, sometimes the lining of the womb is minimal in size which will affect whether there is "period" bleeding or not at the end of the pack of pills. That "period" is actually hormone induced bleeding to let you know when to start the next pack of pills and is not a "real" period. some women take the active pills continuously to avoid any bleeding.
