Yes. No.: One with short cycles will ovulate sooner after the beginning of her LMP (last menstrual period). That makes it possible to get pregnant on cycle day 7. Implantation is about 7-10 days after ovulation, only if her egg is fertilized. Cycle day 9 is much too early for implantation. She should not expect implantation to cause bleeding but maybe sometimes a bit of spotting happens instead of a period.
