Years?: Sure - pain meds and many others can have side effects. If these are really new however it may be worth an exam since there are other sources of those symptoms too and you might be wise to nip anything in the bud. So consider an exam and even non-drug pain mgmt techniques. Discuss alternatives w/ the Dr while there. Best!
