Muscle spasm: Muscle spasms can be triggered by dehydration, muscle fatigue (an overworked muscle) or electrolyte imbalance (such as sodium or potassium). Consider improving hydration and also address the role daily activities contribute to calf fatigue (choices in footwear, and prolonged walking or standing). Comfortable, supportive shoes may help. Consider magnesium supplements as well.
