Vomiting: Vomiting is very rarely a dangerous process in a person who is wide awake. Very rarely rupture of the esophagus occurs. If one has to vomit, he should sit up and lean forward so stomach contents aren't aspirated into the respiratory tract. Don't be afraid to vomit, but observe precautions.
